Fees

Each coin charges 1%, 2%, or 3% on the quote side. Split is 60% creator, 30% protocol, 10% referrer. Claim when you want.

Every trade pays the coin’s fee in the quote (ETH, a stable, $BASECAT, a wrapped major, or a stock token) — not in the meme itself.

Trade fee

The creator picks 1%, 2% (default), or 3% at launch. That choice is locked.

FeeCreatorProtocolReferrerIf nobody referred
1%0.60%0.30%0.10%Creator 0.60% · protocol 0.40%
2%1.20%0.60%0.20%Creator 1.20% · protocol 0.80%
3%1.80%0.90%0.30%Creator 1.80% · protocol 1.20%

A missing, invalid, or self-referral does not cut the creator share. That slice goes to protocol instead.

For the first 20 seconds the fee can be higher. Extra above the coin’s normal fee goes to protocol. See Anti-snipe.

How to claim

Open Profile or the coin’s Fees tab and claim. Fees wait for you; they are not sent automatically.

  • Creator mode: the fee owner claims the quote.
  • Rewards mode: holders claim the quote. Selling without claiming forfeits what was pending.
  • Self-burn / yard-burn: the creator share is burned (the new token, or $BASECAT). There is nothing for the creator to claim.

Rewards are the pair asset only (an AAPL pair pays AAPL). Not equity. Not a dividend.

Referrals

Share a coin’s referral link. You earn the 10% referrer slice of that coin’s fee. Claim the same way as other fees.

Launch cost

0.001 ETH per new token, paid when you confirm the launch.

Where the protocol share goes

On Base, 70% of the protocol share is ops and 30% buys $BASECAT for a public treasury. On Robinhood Chain, the protocol share stays on that chain.

A live coin’s 60 / 30 / 10 split does not change after launch.
