Launch a token

Connect, fill the form, review, and confirm in your wallet. Trading starts when the transaction lands.

Use Create on Base or Robinhood Chain. Switch the chain in your wallet first. One confirmation creates the token and opens the market.

Steps

  1. Connect your wallet on launch.basecat.app.
  2. Enter a name, ticker, and image. Those freeze after launch.
  3. Pick a quote (what people buy and sell against).
  4. Pick a mode — see Modes.
  5. Pick a fee of 1%, 2% (default), or 3%. See Fees.
  6. Optionally set a first buy. Leave it at zero if you do not want a creator bag.
  7. Read the review screen. Confirm in your wallet. Creation costs 0.001 ETH.

If anything in that transaction fails, nothing is created.

After it lands

The coin is live. Anyone can buy. You cannot mint extra tokens, pause trading, or pull liquidity.

Selling needs buyers first. If nobody has bought yet, there may be nothing to sell into. That is normal at the start.

The coin page shows the lock, the fee, the first-20-seconds countdown, and (if you used one) how much you bought at launch.
